You made a wrong manipulation by modifying your boot.ini: then this is the solution ....

Start on your XP CD (possibly alter your BIOS) and then choose R (Repair) and C (Recovery Console) ... At the command prompt type: bootcfg / default

Otherwise you also bootcfg / rebuild ... Bootcfg /?

Remove the CD and reboot ...
